Amarna is an artificially crafted space station, around the size of a small planet.
(Roughly 1/6th the size of Earth.)
It was co-manufactured by Earth Frontier defecter humans as well as alien races who
refused to sign the treaty. It acts as a haven away from the E.F.A.'s controlling grasp, as
well as a home for individuals with no home elsewhere.
The space station is powered 100% by a solar core, which is amplified by the small star it
orbits around. The station is far away enough to be a celestial body capable
of sustaining life, but one downside is that the climate is perpetually hot.
Water is created artificially. It is a treasured commodity, so the attitude towards it
is much more respectful. Finding alternatives to minimize water usage outside of consumption
is one of its main innovations. (One of which being their unique "steam showers" which cuts
water usage significantly.)
Life and activities on Amarna are much less formal. Although Amarna has a
rudimentary law system, there is no official policing and everything is more or less handled
through a mediator- or by direct physical action.
It's avoided by most law-abiding citizens of Terra Zenso, but those curious enough (or in need
of a getaway) often visit, treating it like a taboo vacation destination.
