underneath holds the real surprise.
Under the planet's surface is an ocean and a thriving society.
Despite the entire planet being a body of water, there are millions of underwater
passageways and caves, created by gas pockets emitted from the planet's core. There are
several different layers of the planet, and each section has varying
water conditions. This has made life on Krykin very diverse.
The porous holes on the planet's surface makes it possible for sunlight to reach, but only so
much. While vegetation is on the highest layers where sunlight can reach, the inhabitants live
in deeper depths and use well-placed mirrors and crystals to illuminate any section.
The creatures that have evolved there are all aquatic. Despite there being a considerable
amount of diversity on the planet, there is no species classification, and the populous
as a whole is referred to as the "Poseid".
A noted feature amongst the culture is their affinity to moonlight and their respect for the sun.
They hold a very unique belief, where every single Poseid wears a uniquely created stone to
keep them under the protection of the moon spirit.
The deepest depths are used to harden various minerals, elements, dyes, and magic solutions into a unique gemstone. Any Poseid without it is seen to be without the blessed eye of the spirit on them, and essentially lose their identity as one of the people.
